Deploy is a versatile and boutique lender which was established by a team of real estate finance experts with more than 60 years industry experience.
Deploy has a highly experienced team, with expansive careers in real estate finance and debt advisory. Our team members have extensive institutional experience in banking and have originated over £2bn of real estate debt across residential and commercial assets.
The Principals of Deploy are Shareholders in a market leading real estate debt advisory business, which has been operating for over 17 years and which services SME property developers and investors. The wider team are skilled in loan management from their previous careers spread across reputable banks and family office real estate businesses.
We specialise in the short term bridging finance and light refurbishment space, providing indicative heads of terms within 48 hours and credit backed heads of terms within 5 working days. Due to our in house experience and strong relationships with real estate professionals, we have achieved a bridging completion within two weeks from start to finish. This demonstrates our ability to make quick decisions and deliver fast completions.
Tom Reynolds
Chief Executive Officer
Tom has been advising on real estate finance for over 20 years, successfully navigating a multitude of market challenges.
Initially forging a niche in the luxury development sector and having funded some of England’s highest value homes, Tom has a long history in dealing with UHNWI’s, and their Advisers.
Through the debt advisory business he founded, Tom has raised structured finance facilities for large BTR & PBSA projects, as well as continuing to advise SME Developers and Investors.
Tom has originated and ran a residential development mezzanine platform, as well as raising and deploying UHNW investment into joint venture projects.
Tom has oversight on strategy for Deploy and focuses on returns for all stakeholders.
Paul Lyons
Managing Director
Paul has more than 20 years experience in financial services with a background in Banking and Debt Advisory.
During a 20 year career, Paul has held roles at Lloyds, RBS, Santander and Cynergy Bank. Paul has become a recognised and trusted lender and advisor in the market having held senior Banking positions in credit, restructuring and origination functions and as a FCA controlled function Director at Carbon FC Ltd.
Paul was instrumental in building Cynergy Bank’s South East portfolio, originating a £200m loan book in less than 3 years.
Paul plays a key role as Deploy now looks to launch into the UK Real Estate market.
Greg Jones
Non Executive Chair
Greg Jones has significant experience as a SMF 24 Chief Operating Officer and SMF 6 Managing Director, Property Finance and has operated at senior Executive and Board levels across arrange of large/challenger banks.
Greg brings independent challenge and governance and Chairs Investment Committees.
Lizzie Lane
Head of Credit
Lizzie brings over 18 years of expertise in the financial services sector, with a strong focus on bridging and development finance.
She played a pivotal role at the FCA-regulated challenger bank, Masthaven, where she held senior leadership positions as Head of Lending and Head of Credit. During her time at Masthaven, Lizzie earned widespread recognition for her exceptional customer service, strong relationship-building skills, and ability to deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Lizzie firmly believes that her commercial mindset and practical, common-sense approach to specialist lending have been the foundation of her success, establishing her as a trusted and results-driven professional in the industry.
Stephanie Mooney
Lending Director
Stephanie is a Relationship Manager in the Deploy team. Stephanie is committed to delivering a positive client experience and ensures that the formal process is completed in a timely manner, liaising with clients and professionals to ensure the process runs smoothly.
Stephanie has spent over 10 years working in the real estate finance sector, allowing her to understand client’s requirements and assist in structuring the right deal from the outset. She has extensive experience on the bank side, for both a clearing bank and a challenger bank.
Clare Gotsell
Lending Manager
Clare is an experienced adviser within Deploy’s sister company, Carbon Funding Consultants, where she specialises in supporting portfolio landlords and property developers. Her in-depth knowledge of the HMO and MUFB sectors has earned her a strong reputation among investors, many of whom now also benefit from her growing expertise in the new-build space. Deploy benefits from Clare’s support in her capacity as Lending Manager. Her practical approach and sector insight make her a trusted partner for clients navigating complex property finance transactions.
Jade Martell
Lending Manager
Jade has excelled since joining Deploy’s sister company, Carbon Funding Consultants, in 2022, following a successful track record as an adviser in her previous role. In addition to advising on mortgage and insurance business, Jade plays a key role in developing relationships that generate new opportunities across Carbon. She also supports Deploy’s lending function in her capacity as Lending Manager, contributing to both the relationship building and underwriting side of the business.
